Would your school like to visit the pumpkin patch?

field trips

We are pleased to invite your class to visit our pumpkin patch, and offer special pricing!

$10 per child

$10 per adult (teacher, teacher's aide, parent/guardian chaperone, etc.)

Field trips are allotted 3 hours and are available to schedule Tuesday through Friday, 8:30am or later. Some classes stay for 1 hour, some stay for 3 hours; it all depends how much time you have available and how long you'd like to let the kiddos run around for.  We open up to the public at 12:00pm on weekdays, so we encourage classes to try to schedule their visits before this time when possible.

1 responsible adult (teacher, teacher's aide, parent, etc.) is required per every 6 students for supervision. *Please note: Adults must supervise the students at all times, and please ensure the children follow the rules. Thank you for your cooperation!

The $10 fee will cover admission into the pumpkin farm and all the available weekday attractions (hay ride, haunted gold mine, haunted barn, magic corn boxes, kids' milo maze with mini straw pyramids, corn maze, kids' hay maze, kids' pedal tractors, little western town, miner's cabin).

The fee also includes a free “fieldtrip” pumpkin (approximately 6"-8", 5-7 lbs.) that each child can choose. The class teacher will also be able to choose a free pumpkin of any variety to bring back to the classroom.  If any adult chaperone or teacher's aide would like a pumpkin, a large variety will be available for purchase.

Most fieldtrips begin with Nick Bastiao (the owner/farmer) briefly talking with the children about the pumpkin patch.  Next, the children will be able to walk in the pumpkin field and choose their own pumpkin.  We recommend bringing Sharpie markers so the kids can write their names on the bottoms of their pumpkins to help identify them once back at school.  We have plenty of free wagons available to hold your chosen pumpkins until you're ready to depart.  After the pumpkin picking, it is a free-for-all for the children to explore, play, and have fun on their own with the adult chaperones supervising. Everyone can go on a hayride when they would like (each hayride accommodates approximately 20 people).

Everyone can bring snacks or a lunch and use the shaded picnic tables to eat. Please be sure to bring water bottles, as we do not have a drinking fountain on site. Our general store is stocked with drinks and snacks if anyone would like to purchase anything.

We have plenty of clean, portable restrooms (including wheelchair accessible) and handwashing stations.

Parking is free, and there is plenty of space available for private autos and for school buses.

Payment will be collected when your group arrives for their field trip, based on the actual number of attendees.  We accept cash, checks (made payable to “Yeung Farms Specialty Produce”) or credit card.
